Canva My Friend!
Canva is an absolute life saver in my business. I use it daily for all kinds of jobs. You can use Canva to make templates for all your social media posts - make up 5 or 6 and just re-use them, swapping out the photos and wording as you go, so you are not re-creating for each post. I can either make up the templates for you in Canva or give you some training on how to use Canva for yourself, it's so easy and many people quite enjoy having a play in Canva and finding out how creative they really are!
I really really love creating in Canva as you can probably tell. I'm always swapping and changing images around as I find new stuff in Canva. I love all the Vintage images etc at the moment! You do not have to be a graphic designer to use it, and the more you do use it the better you get at creating images. Aaargh some of my first ones were terrible. Upgrading to a pro account unlocks even more features, you can create documents for printing, ebooks, you can even upload pdf's and edit them. I find it much easier to use than word or any other app I've tried. So for eye catching social media posts, pinterest pins, images for newletters, product images for your shop Canva is your best friend.
You can use Canva to design your email signatures, which are clickable, so you can send clients to your website straight from a link in your email. Link in Bio's for Instagram are another easy way of getting potential clients who find you on Instagram over to your shop or other offerings you have.
Trial fonts and colors to see what looks best for you brand. If you see a picture or have a photo which you LOVE the colors in we can make up a color palette from the image. I get my clients to make Pinterest boards of all the things they love so I can get a feel for the colors and aesthetic that is them. Remember YOU are your brand/business so let the YOU shine through as that is what attracts the right people to YOU!
This is a color palette I made for one of my clients. It's so easy to showcase the colors to see how they would work in her business. I usually make a range which the client can choose which they like the best, then we can use the images I've already created in Canva to load in as their Branding kits. It means all the colors and fonts are there ready for each project in Canva.
