Created by Kate Neligan, the story goes that her horses told her one day, "Write down what we teach." She listed 40 emotional intelligence qualities she'd learned from the equines, and this deck was born so that everyone can keep a little horse wisdom close by.

The deck has won the Winnie Award at the Equus Film Festival and has been featured on the HEAL and Journey On + Women's Dream Enlightenment podcasts and at the Art of Horseman Fair. It was printed locally in Kate's US hometown by a family-owned printer, and the velvet bags were embroidered by a woman-owned company.
