This week's card in my Essential Oils and Oracle Cards series is Sword of Light. This is my absolute favourite card from this deck. I actually pick it out (and it quite often falls out of this deck for me) and carry it with me (and my Lemon essential oil) on days that I need it, whispering the affirmation "Sword of Light, thank you for cutting the unnecessary cords that bind me to fear. I stand in truth and light, fulfilling the call of my soul."
This card is a call to access spiritual power and truth, helping us working in the light to cut through limitations and sever cords of fear. It's an invitation to move beyond blockages and step into alignment with your highest good.
For this card I always choose lemon to go with it. Lemon's aspects are: light, truth, freshness, purity, detachment, energy, efficiency, focus on the essential, presence and emotional clarity. Lemon is a natural cleanser, not only for the physical but for our energy too, lifting our mood and allowing us to concentrate on what truly matters. With Lemon we are invited to shed what doesn't serve us, illuminating our path with a sense of purity, efficiency and an openness to both human and divine love.
This combination of the Sword of Light and Lemon Essential Oil is a powerful way to focus on cutting ties to negativity, bringing focus, and finding emotional clarity on our journey.

You can pick oils to match how you are feeling emotionally, which is a great way to keep on top of your day and on top of your state of mind. By tinkering with them everyday you begin to learn the oils that energize you, the oils that relax you and as you go along explore new oils.
