How to add Links to your Instagram Bio

Instagram is now letting us add up to 5 links to our Instagram Bio which is fabulous!! If you add links to a post on Instagram they are not clickable and are just a waste of time as no one is going to copy and paste your link, and then open a new browser - they will loose interest and keep scrolling. But if you have the links in your bio/profile people can easily click up into your profile when they are interested in something you have posted and then be able to click through all your offerings.

You can also add a Facebook Page or a Facebook Profile, the Facebook is included in your 5 links so have a think about what you want most - where do you want to send people.

🌟Your Website - because from there people can find everything they need to know
🌟 If you have a blog - your blog because no doubt you will be posting about what you have been writing about and you don't want to have to update the link for each new blog post so add the link to your blog in here which also sparks interest with your other blog posts. - NB if your blog is a big driver of traffic for you put the blog first!
🌟Do you have an online store? An Etsy shop? Use this link to your store.
🌟Here put in a link to your newsletter sign up page
🌟For this one either use the Facebook link or Pinterest, Tik Tok choose the social media platform you are most active on.

This order can be mixed up depending on your industry but I find these are the most important links, once people are on your website they can find anything also, so you don't have to keep remembering to update your link in bio.

While you are in there have a look at your Public Business Information and your Bio to make sure you are happy with everything. Remember to use keywords in your Bio, Instagram is now recognising keywords now so think of what people would type in to find your business and add those words and phrases into your bio.
