How I Stay Sane Creating Content Every Week (and How You Can Too)
Ever sit down at your desk, open your laptop, and think, “What on earth am I supposed to post today?”
Yep. Been there.
That’s exactly why I created this handy little thing I call my Content Planner Template. It’s a Canva template (which means it’s super pretty and easy to use) that helps you plan out your content without the stress. Whether you're a paper-and-pen kind of gal like me, or someone who loves to keep it digital, this planner's got your back.
So what is it?
It’s a 30-ish page Canva template filled with prompts, planning pages, space for brain dumps, and tracking sheets. You can use it to plan your blog posts, podcasts, Instagram posts, Facebook content, whatever platforms you're on. The beauty is, you make it your own. Delete pages you don’t need, duplicate the ones you love, and make it look beautiful so you actually want to open it.
Because let’s be real if it’s ugly or boring, it’s just gonna sit there, collecting digital dust.
How it works:
Open the template using the link you’ll get right after purchasing. (You’ll need a Canva account but don’t worry, the free version works perfectly.)
Customize it. Add your branding, pick your fonts and colours, or leave it just as it is.
Use it your way. Print it out and scribble away like I do, or use it online in Canva. Totally up to you.
Why it’s a game changer
Having a content plan means no more staring at the screen wondering what to post. It also means you stay accountable. Just set aside a couple of hours a week to plan out your big content (like a blog or podcast) and then break that down into 5 to 8 smaller pieces for your socials.
That’s called working smarter, my friend.
And the best part? You’ll stop wasting time doing the same stuff that doesn’t work. This planner includes space to track your content and results, so if something isn’t getting the clicks or comments, you can switch it up. Easy peasy.
Let’s talk about content pillars
This planner gently nudges you to think about your main topics (your content pillars). Once you’ve got those sorted, content ideas start popping up everywhere in the garden, in the shower, while you’re feeding the chooks. Print out the brain dump pages and keep them nearby to jot ideas down when they strike. Future you will thank you!
