Fractionated Coconut Oil

Fractionated Coconut oil means it's coconut oil which has been treated, so it doesn't set at cooler temperatures, this makes it a great therapeutic oil for the skin. It is also a wonderful carrier oil, which you can add your essential oils too, the coconut oil kind of holds the essential oils making the scent last longer, and also safer than applying essential oils directly to the skin if you are not used to them.

Fractionated Coconut oil is scentless so will not effect the scent of any essential oils you add, or can also be used on it's own.

My favourite uses:

✨Make up Remover: I have a few bottles of this on the go - a plain one, which I use as makeup remover, you add a couple of drops to your makeup remover pads and gently wipe eye makeup off and then rub some into your hands and apply all over your face and neck, then either shower or wipe off with a warm flannel.

✨Essential Oil Blends: To make up essential oil blends to try, 3/4 fill little roller bottle with Fractionated Coconut oil and then experiment with some oil blending for topical application. Some of my favourites =

5 drops Lavender, 3 drops Vetiver, 2 drops Ylang Ylang - ☺️Relaxation

10 drops Clary Sage, 5 drops Lavender, 5 drops Ylang Ylang, 5 drops Frankincense - 🙆‍♀️Womans support

4 drops Frankincense, 4 drops Lavender, 3 drops Patchouli - 🧘‍♀️Calming

More uses....

Then I have a couple more bottles with my favourite oils added to them already so when I jump out of the shower I smother myself in them, usually Balance or Lavender Peace. Once you step out of the shower, before drying yourself, massage in the Fractionated Coconut oil with or without Essential Oils added to it. Then dry yourself off, this leaves your skin so silky smooth.

✨Hair deep treatment - when you are due for a hair wash, maybe a couple of hours before hand or even over night - (just sleep on an older pillowcase) massage into your head and hair Fractionated Coconut oil with a few drops of Rosemary oil added. A little goes a long way so about 1/4 of a cup of oil in a bowl with 2-3 drops of Rosemary oil for long hair and half that for short. Rinse out and shampoo and condition as normal but you will notice extra softness and shine.

✨Bath Oils: Keep hold of your old used bottles of oils so you can make up bath oils in them. Give them a good rinse out then fill almost to the top with Fractionated Coconut oil then add some Essential Oils good for bathing in like:

Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Lavender, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Frankincense - think relaxing, comforting smells... Try out some different blends in your bath.

NB: do NOT use citrus oils if you will be exposed to the sun in the next 4-6 hours.  All citrus oils are photosensitive so can cause extreme sunburn if you've been soaking in a fully citrus bath!

The Fractionated coconut oil adds a lovely silkyness to your bath water, you will be struggling to get out! I also love to add some fresh herbs and petals.... bliss!!

Guess what! Even Hippocrates recommended daily aromatic baths to prolong life!

I hope this gives you some ideas of how to use your Fractionated Cocount Oil, let me know if you find some more for yourself!!
